Terms of Service

Effective Date: September 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering, accessing, or using the XI Royale platform ("Platform", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all terms and conditions, you must discontinue your use of the Platform immediately.

2. Eligibility and Account Registration

  • Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and participate in real-money competitions.
  • Jurisdiction: The Platform operates primarily within Kenya. You are responsible for ensuring your participation is legal in your local jurisdiction.
  • Account Accuracy: You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration, including your phone number and M-Pesa registered name.
  • One Account: Users are permitted strictly one (1) account. Operating multiple accounts to bypass limits or manipulate competition outcomes is strictly prohibited and will result in a permanent ban and forfeiture of funds.

3. Financial Transactions

  • Deposits and Withdrawals: All financial transactions are processed in Kenyan Shillings (KES) via the Safaricom M-Pesa network. You must use an M-Pesa account registered in your own name.
  • Entry Fees: Once you join a competition and the entry fee is deducted from your wallet, it is non-refundable unless the competition is cancelled by the Platform.
  • House Commission: The Platform deducts a transparent administrative fee (rake) from the gross prize pool of created competitions. The exact commission rate is calculated automatically and presented prior to competition entry.
  • Taxation: You are solely responsible for reporting and paying any applicable taxes on your winnings to the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) or relevant tax authority.

4. Gameplay, FPL Integration, and Payouts

  • Third-Party Data: XI Royale relies on the official Fantasy Premier League (FPL) API to determine scores, ranks, and competition outcomes. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by the Premier League.
  • Data Finality: All points, standings, and statistics provided by the FPL API at the conclusion of a Gameweek are considered final for the purpose of our payouts. Subsequent retroactive point corrections made by FPL after our payouts have been processed will not alter the results of closed XI Royale competitions.
  • Ties: In the event of a tie for a paid position, the prize money allocated for the tied positions will be aggregated and split equally among the tied users.
  • API Outages: If the official FPL API experiences extended downtime preventing the calculation of scores, the Platform reserves the right to postpone payouts or, in extreme cases, cancel and refund the affected competitions.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following activities:

  • Collusion, match-fixing, or cooperating with other users to manipulate competition outcomes.
  • Attempting to hack, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the Platform or its APIs.
  • Exploiting software bugs or loopholes for financial gain.
  • Using stolen identities, unauthorized M-Pesa accounts, or engaging in money laundering activities.

Violation of these rules gives XI Royale the right to instantly freeze your account, confiscate wallet balances, and report the behavior to local law enforcement.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, XI Royale, its directors, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Platform. The Platform is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted access to the platform.

7. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Nairobi, Kenya.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform following any modifications indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.
